将近一年的时间里，积石山县生产生活秩序逐步恢复，中国铁塔临夏州分公司也积极参与灾后重建工作。临夏铁塔充分发挥信息通信基础设施建设“国家队”、5G新基建“主力军”作用，将积石山县城西片区安置点及周边学校信号全量覆盖纳入积石山灾后重建工作中。据临夏铁塔相关工作人员介绍：“最重要的当然是安全、快速。这一片区的基站历时1天半就完成了建设、引电、调测调通工作，保障该片区安置点1000余户灾区安置居民及前庄小学信号畅通。”

震中受损严重的是团结村。随着团结安置点灾后重建的不断进行，居民们对手机信号及网络使用需求也在不断加大。临夏铁塔公司对接运营商、工作人员做好现场选址、引电及施工现场安全。最终，历时两天完成建设、引电、调测调通工作，保证了团结村B区安置点1000余户灾区安置居民信号畅通。从灾情发生到现在，中国铁塔已完成积石山县13个安置点的信号全量覆盖。
